The options you choose to supplement your basic medical insurance will be determined by a variety of circumstances. Bupa World Health Option is flexible for people in Singapore, Indonesia Vietnam or any part of the world.
Your age and general health, your employment and leisure activities, whether you’re living abroad alone or with your family, and how you generally manage your health and wellness at home are all factors to consider. If you like to be proactive about your health, you can consider purchasing the Worldwide Wellbeing option of Bupa World Health Option, which covers a variety of health exams, immunizations, and dental and optical care.
External considerations include where you’ll be living and the health challenges and amenities that exist in that area. For example, if you’ll be traveling to a rural location with limited medical services, you might want to consider adding Worldwide Evacuation coverage to your plan to ensure that you can get to a hospital or clinic that can offer the care you need when you need it.

This plan’s most important component is worldwide medical insurance. It gives you peace of mind by providing coverage for any necessary hospital treatments you may require in the event of an emergency or a planned visit. Surgery, cancer therapy, and advanced imaging are all covered, regardless of whether the treatment is received in a hospital or as a day-patient. This option is the must have option in Bupa World Health Option Products.
Consultations with a doctor or specialist, as well as medical procedures that do not require a hospital stay, are covered under Worldwide Medical Plus. Worldwide Medical Plus includes coverage for young-child care, maternity care, complementary therapies, and speech therapy up to a limit of £25,000 per year (excluding transplant procedures).
Prescription drugs and the rental of medical equipment, such as oxygen supplies or wheelchairs, are covered under Worldwide Medicines and Equipment. Our one-of-a-kind long-term prescription coverage will cover any medication needed to treat chronic diseases including asthma.
To keep you healthy, Worldwide Wellbeing offers a variety of health exams, immunizations, dentistry, and optical care. These services can help with early diagnosis of a range of ailments, and the sooner a problem is discovered, the sooner you can get treatment and feel better.
If the treatment you require is not available locally, the Worldwide Evacuation option is perfect. It pays for appropriate transportation charges to the nearest suitable medical facility, ensuring that you receive the care you require. Repatriation allows you to be treated in a more familiar environment by returning to your home country or a specific place of nationality.
If you spend the most of your time in the United States, you will need to purchase annual USA coverage. If you spend the most of your time outside the United States, you can select to add USA coverage to your plan when you join or renew, allowing you to receive medical treatment in the United States. We are unable to cover permanent residents of the United States since they must be covered by a local insurance firm.
The contributions you make toward the cost of your treatment are known as deductibles. You have a variety of deductible options to select from, allowing you to control the cost of your plan. If you choose a deductible for your Worldwide Medical Insurance coverage, you will be subject to extra deductibles if you choose Worldwide Medical Plus or Worldwide Medicines and Equipment (deductibles do not apply to Worldwide Wellbeing or Worldwide Evacuation). These will be smaller than the deductible on your Worldwide Medical Insurance cover to provide you access to the benefits you’ve chosen sooner. Even if your main Worldwide Medical Insurance deductible is £5,000, you’ll just need to run-up costs of £100 in expenditures for physiotherapy, for example, to begin claiming on your Worldwide Medical Plus option.
